Lunchboxes!

There are many ways that one's attention can be taken in Shirley's museum.  Perhaps many adults remember carrying a lunchbox to school after it was carefully packed by a caring parent with the promise of good food and perhaps a treat we would not know about until lunch time.  The lunchboxes were a part of our youthful active lives, and if Superman was among those who held our attention on the television screen, our lunchbox would boast that fact (and perhaps make a young boy feel somewhat more invincible).  For the girls maybe the Campus Queen lunchbox was filled with a good lunch and aligned her with the most beautiful of women.  It was great fun, and it remains great fun if not greater fun to look back on these wonderful icons of our popular culture and our innocence.  Please do visit the museum and lean into the cabinets to see these treasures!
